2009 World Appreciative Inquiry Conference
‘Creating A Positive Revolution for Sustainable Change' was the theme of ‘2009 World Appreciative Inquiry Conference' that was held last year( November 16-10, 2009) at Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Among many tools, Synergy Nepal uses Appreciative Inquiry as a one of the major tools in plenty for the community development as well as day to day life of office management. After the international conference, Chairperson of SN Bhakta Raj Ranjit applied immediately when he visited different communities of Rukum, Rolpa and Pyuthan districts of Nepal in the month of December, 2009. Community members enjoyed the session of planning with the approach of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) . The planning was about how to make their Telecentres (cybercafé) hybrid model that maintains qualitative services to common and marginalized people and revenue oriented in remote and rural areas of Nepal .

AI makes people to discover, dream, design and transform toward the best. If we talk individual life, AI enables people to turn tension into enthusiasm, cynicism into collaboration, and apathy into inspired action. Another great teaching of AI is that we would be able to analyze success instead of problems. Then a question arises. Normally, people think of problems in individual life and or corporate life. And in community development, we start our works with problem trees! What difference does it make when we think of success instead of problems.
